The Florence Baptistery is part of the Florence Duomo complex, and is famous for its three sets of bronze sculptured doors. The south doors were created first during the 14th century by Andrea Pisano. The north and east doors were later created during the 15th century by Lorenzo Ghiberti.

The Accademia Gallery, or Galleria dell’Accademia, contains sculptures by Michelangelo; the most well know being the Statue of David. The gallery also contains a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists, mostly from the 14th to 17th century.
